The Love Story:
Elizabeth, as a young girl, knew what her dream husband would look like. And she made a wish that it would happen to her. As she grew older, her wish became a childhood memory and she began to focus on her dancing and schooling.
With High School- a wish started to become a reality and she was allowed to date. Her first and only date was with Jonathan and little did she know that it would be the last date she would ever had- because he was and became her one and only for 10years!
THE WEDDING
Elizabeth is an extremely detailed bride. She had a vision of how her dream wedding was going to be. White, with small touches of color. She wanted her wedding to personify her and Jonathan's taste and love of syle.
Her theme was a classic style, clean edge Neo-Baroque.
MY JOB
I was tasked to take on this style and find quality vendors with a eye for exquiste details and make sure that all of Elizabeth's vision are put together. I made sure that all details were met and were on time. From the chairs to the photographer; each vendor had to understand and see how the key was in the details!

This was a fabulous wedding  and I am so happy that Infinity Weddings & Events, was able to finish the 2010 season with another Platinum wedding!
We wish Elizabeth and Jonathan a long and happy marriage, filled with love, laughter, joy, health and wealth, from here until INFINITY!

Does a beach wedding still go on with rain

She was still smiling even though one hour before her Miami Beach wedding was to begin, the skies opened up and the down pour began.
Her family had driven all the way from Texas to be there and mother nature was not going to win. We all waited and prayed that the weather would let up allowing for the wedding to happen. In the mean time- we talked, took pictures, confirmed all information and then it happend....The rain stopped!
Everyone started gathering up all the items to design her beach wedding.
The beach wedding set up was simple, yet classic, the notary, Barbara Esquirosa, waited and this fabulous photographer, Tatiana Cohen, clicked away.

They finally sealed the deal with a kiss for a life time, with the rain clouds pushed away and enough day light to get these fabulous pictures.
Congratulations. May your love last, my your heart stay strong and may your faith be a beacon of light.

Reason to select the RIGHT photographer for YOU.

To all of those who know me, know, that I am a big fan of the art of photography. And each time I book a wedding, the main questions I ask are- what is your budget and have you booked a photographer?
I ask this because, photography, is the one detail of your wedding that will help you see all the details you put into your day after your day is long gone. I also know that when done correctly, the images and artistry can simply..take your breath away.

I work with many photographers, whether they are students, college grads, professionals or novice, all have this vision, not only through their eyes, but through their extend eye of the camera lens. And when you select an artist, you should select by how you feel when you see their work, their passion. Look at their websites, blogs and reviews. Ask tons of questions, because once the day is over it is gone for good and you can never really capture those moments again. If you have the means or budget, PLEASE get a great photographer for your day!

In this session my clients took my advise and signed on with the 2009 grand prize winner of WPPI, Maloman Photography, and the results are well AhMazing! Once again, recommending Maloman Photography  was sheer brilliance on my part, because they exemplify my strong belief that "Excellent work is not cheap and cheap work is not excellent" and ladies and gentleman... this is an perfect example of excellent work!

Needless to say that Stephan and Candance Maloman can take something ordinary and make it extraordinary. They have this vision or some sort of magic where the ordinary eye cannot see, but the heart does and they capture it through a lens. So I ask you "How do you do the magic that you do so well?"

Emerald Bridal 9162 - Sample Wedding Dress | SmartBrideBoutique.com

So in today's tough economic times, many brides are asking me where can they reduce the cost. I always say first and foremost, the guest list; but we all know this already and there is really no need to beat a dead guest list. So where else can you cut and still have fabulousity. Well let's look at the wedding gown!
1. You will only wear it once- unless you have a Trash the Dress photo session. But most of us wear it once for 4-5 hours.
2. Your daughter, like you, will probably not wear her mother's wedding gown.
3. What will you do with the dress after the dream wedding has passed? Sell it? Like everyone else??

Now unless you have a budget to match the Vera Wang or Monique Lhullier's most fabulousness of new gowns, then a restructuring of your thinking might help you have it all, but not at the stress of the price.

Here are some ways:
1. First and foremost-Look for your body style and the dress shape/cut you want and think is best for you.
2. Make appointments and go to bridal boutiques/ salons and try on many gowns until you see the shape/style and cut you want. Be careful, the ladies there are making a living, so be respectful of their time. Be honest with them, if they won't help you when you are honest, then it is probably not the place you would want to get your gown from away.
3. Start shopping early! Like a year should do...Basically, if you have the ring, start shopping for the dress.
4. Consider renting- I know, I know, you want a brand new one, never been worn gown, that is all yours- but again consider the budget- and who is really going to know if it is rented or not- UNLESS you tell them. Besides, your future husband and probably your groomsmen are renting their Hugo Boss tux/suits as well and no one questions them.
5. Renting is out of the question- then purchase it from another bride. This means that this is your dress! After the wedding you can trash or sell it, or give it to charity (someone say tax deduction). But none the less it is all yours to do as you please. I know you want a brand new one, never been worn gown, that is all yours.
6. EBay stores- Heaven to Betsy, did I say that! YES I DID! We are talking about saving some buku dollars here. Those gowns made in China or Philippines are just as beautiful and detailed as you want it to be- a word of caution- get professionally measured at least 3x. And always be in contact with them. Check out their ratings and read their reviews. OH and by the way, Monique Lhullier is from the Philippines. So open your mind to the possibilities and remain diligent!
7. Someone say SAMPLE sales- yes this is a fabulous word, but some hiccups- one- once bought it is yours, stains, other women have tried on, rips, tears and all. But you can get a great bargain and the cost to clean and or repair may still be of significant savings!

William, Nicole and the jars

What a fabulous day! After spending the day with one of my fabulous brides, Missy, I left to Micheal's craft store to get an apothecary jar.
While looking for the perfect one, I noticed a very pretty young lady, fabulously petite and slender, with long blonde hair and she was slightly frustrated on not being able to find two of kind jars and glass, for, what I later found out, candy station.
She mentioned that it was very annoying not being able to find the same jars, vases and glass and when she found a set, one of them was either missing a top or cracked. I sensed her disappointment and kept looking for a perfect jar, for another wedding I was planning, but I could not help but laugh when her fiance, William, who looked like a perfect match for his beautiful bride; seeing the shopping cart full with at least seven more jars of assorted shapes and size, asked in a very surprised tone, "how many do you need?". She said, "we have seven and we need more, because we have alot of candy." His next question was a typical question from a soon to be groom."How much is this going to cost?" And there is where I laughed out loud.
I immediately apologized and stated "you are getting married, right?" They answered yes and we began having a wonderful conversation of their plans for their big day.
They described the chuppah, the Miami Beach country club venue, the sour gummies, the assorted food stations they wanted; including a flambe station and so much more. They did voice some concern that their guests may have too much or too little but ask any wedding planner, you can never have enough, when you can; and after one hour, they stated that they were feeling so much better and were completely relaxed in the planning of their wedding. You are quite welcome, it is what I do... take that stress away!

PS.Nicole, remember, ask your florist to add the third set of candelabras for that romantic feel.

A simple wedding done in 3 weeks!

A very young couple, in love, with a very small budget, called me and pleaded for assistance in finding a venue for their wedding day. According to family and friends, they have been together "forever" and now felt that getting married, well, it was the right thing to do. My heart went out to them and I agreed.
So the task was put on to me to find them a venue that would have the elements that they wanted, at a price that was affordable for their 65 guests and as stated earlier, within 3 weeks.
Off I went with the check list- first- "How much can you afford? What??? $2,500.00 for the venue and it should it encompass food, drinks, music, flowers and cake?"
With a tremble in my voice, I mustered up the words "ooookkkkayy".
I asked, "So, do you mind if the banquet hall is in Hialeah? In a shopping center?". I had to straighten up, I had to be firm- because unless they were looking to have their wedding at Aunt Betty's backyard and they had friends and family doing the rest, a banquet hall in Hialeah will probably be the best bet.
Afterall, this is not "My Fair Wedding with David Tutera", where vendors will give them everything for free for a chance of TV stardom. This was reality without TV and David Tutera.
Luckily they were completely open and understanding to the situation that they placed themselves in by wanting to get married in 3 weeks!
After several tours of several banquet halls- we found one. The food was.... very good- rice pilaf, steak and vegetables. And they offered a nice package deal. Food for 65 guest, 4 hours of bar- one hour of appetizers- cake, flowers, linen, chairs, table ware, flatware and DJ for under $20.00 per person. Not too bad.
Needless to say the wedding was beautiful and the reception... well everyone ate, drank, danced and were merry.
Congratulations guys...
